The Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York, New York City's leading service and advocacy organization for nonprofit theatre, welcomes Tony Award-winning actor Billy Porter as host of the official opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the A.R.T./NEW YORK THEATRES today, January 18, 2017 beginning at 10:30am and located at 502 West 53rd Street.

In the interview, the two time Tony nominee, currently starring as Aaron Burr in the hit Broadway musical HAMILTON, reflects back at a controversial visit from Vice President-elect Mike Pence last November.

In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Billy Porter announced his marriage to longtime partner Adam Smith. 'We're looking forward to understanding and learning how to share your life with somebody,' Porter was quoted. 'I'm really thrilled to figure out what that means - together, with my soul mate!'

For Joshua Henry, 2017 seems to be his year, as he says in this EXCLUSIVE interview following his 2 solo shows at Schubas Tavern in Chicago. He was joined by some friends from Chicago's cast of Hamilton including Ari Afsar (Eliza), Chris De'Sean Lee (Lafayette/Jefferson) and Samantha Marie Ware (Peggy/Maria Reynolds) singing backup for him. There were also other cast members in the audience including Tony winner Karen Olivo (Angelica), Jose Ramos (John Laurens/Phillip Hamilton) and some other members of the ensemble cheering their friend on.

Record-breaking 6-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald is to return to London's West End in April for four concerts at Leicester Square Theatre, where she completely sold out her shows last year.

HAMILTON's Brandon Victor Dixon discussed Vice President elect Mike Pence's recent controversial visit to the Broadway musical, and responded to critics who believe that the statements made by the cast following the show, may not have been the right and place to be made.
